A deposit must be paid before the car is taken on hire. This will be in the form of a pre authorised credit card payment of £500 or £750 dependant on the car hired. This will cover any insurance excess should a claim occur plus any other costs not covered by the policy including tyre damage and the failure to return the vehicle with a full tank of fuel. The deposit will be returned in full provided no additional charges are due.
