Rolls Royce Silver Shadow II for Hire
The car was a massive leap forward for Rolls Royce as it was their first monocoque body shell because all previous models had been coachbuilt bodies on separate chassis. It was also possibly their first ‘mass production’ model as it was launched in the 60s and 70s when the new pop stars and footballers had the money and the desire to own such a car.
Silver Shadows like our hire car were owned by the Beatles, Barry Sheene, Elton John and even the Russian president Brezhnev although he crashed his and donated the remains to the Motor Museum in Latvia.
Our Rolls Royce hire car is the later Shadow II which features rack and pinion steering and 6750cc engine. It's superb leather and polished wood interior makes for a superb driving experience - just hire our car and be a 'celeb' for the day!
